BRAND VISUAL STORYTELLING by Jonathan Perugia

A brand visual story is a celebration of who you are, and how you make the world a better place.

It is an evocative and intimate way to help your clients and stakeholders to understand your values, culture and personality.

It shows them what makes you a valuable solution to their challenges, so that they get to know, like and trust you.

So they buy from you, or donate to you.

A good brand visual story can:

🔅 Increase profits/funding by building trust, credibility and connection to your brand, vision and values

🔅 Differentiate you from your competition by showing your culture and what makes you unique

🔅 Attract high-calibre new team members and improve internal communication

🔅 Boost engagement in your campaigns

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

The process is all about collaboration, and it's fun (I promise!)

Your story starts with an in-depth conversation about your your brand values and marketing strategy, your challenges, goals and purpose.

We'll discuss any worries or concerns you may have, and put those to rest before the shoot, so that your day is relaxed, calm and rewarding.

We'll talk through shot ideas location, wardrobe, lighting, props, and how all these combine to create a story that aligns with your brand values and strategy (and if you need help with that, we can help!)

That's followed by a process of research and communication so we all have a clear idea of what we're doing before we start.

Let’s talk about how I can help you bring your brand personality and culture to life…

DELIGHTED CLIENTS

Harrison Brands

Harrison Brands is dedicated to reversing the impacts of the climate crisis, recognising the urgency to act before more is irreversibly lost to extinction.

They craft compelling brand identities and marketing campaigns that drive meaningful connections and results.

These images were created collaboratively at the Orchard - and B - Corp members' club run by X+Why in central London.

"Jonathan clearly takes pride in his work. When he created our brand photos, he did his homework and fused creativity with a strong work ethic to ensure we got the results that exceeded our expectations.

It could have taken a week to get those shots, but his efficiency and curious nature yielded fantastic shots in just one day. Expertly retouched and colour balanced too.

A real pleasure to work with."

"Jonathan is unparalleled, unique, and his heart comes through his work.

He has created the best photos I've ever had: theycreate a visual story that really convey the care and love I put into my work and my clients, and they have been really important in helping me to grow my audience and my business.

And in his portraits, I see myself in a beautiful light...they have a real wow factor!

The perfect shots."

The Ministry of Stories

Hidden behind a 'Monsters' Supply Shop' in East London, the Ministry of Stories inspires young people to transform their lives through creative writing.

They provide workshops and mentoring for young people to create imaginative stories, poetry and experiences, improve language and communication skills, and develop social and educational confidence.

'Jonathan captures the magic and excitement of our young people as they create new worlds with words.

He gains their trust and then blends into the background so that people are entirely their natural selves.

He captures their strengths, and the essence of who we are as an organisation.

We feel extremely proud to stand beside his photography and film work.

His visual stories have helped us to recruit volunteers, attract new young people, and exceed our fundraising target on a major fundraising campaign.’

Kirsty Telford, Deputy Director.

Corrine Hutton - Finding Your Feet

"Most girls have a shoe collection, but I have a leg collection!"

Corrine Hutton got a chest infection that led to sepsis, and her hands and feet were amputated to save her life.

In the few hours had together, we created images that showed how she had relearned the basic skills of life and motherhood, and her determination to live independently.

We conveyed her strength and determination, which led her to setting up Finding Your Feet - a charity supporting amputees - and do incredible things like climb Ben Nevis in her prosthetic legs.

We also captured small details in her home add to the depth and emotion of the story: her 'going out' legs with high heels on, drawings by her son Rory.

‘Jonathan is a true pro. He is personable, professional and passionate, and knows how to get the best photo out of the situation, while putting his subjects at ease. He worked with me on a sensitive story with an inspirational lady who lost her hands and feet - he handled the shoot with warmth and tact, and knew instinctively what the editor was looking for’.

Marieme Jamme - I Am The CODE

Who is the most inspirational person you know?

I’ve had the privilege of knowing (and photographing) Lady Mariéme Jamme for many years.

She has overcome circumstances and events that would leave most people understandably defeated.

From being abandoned and trafficked as a young girl, she is now successful tech entrepreneur and founder of I Am The CODE, an organisation with a mission to teach a million girls to code by 2030.

These images span over 10 years, including portraits, events, and book covers.

For me, they speak of her compassion, determination and her ability to meet life’s challenges with humour, resilience and love.

“A good photographer transforms you. Jonathan does that for me, he gives me the best pictures ever. He's very caring, kind and attentive and lots of fun.

He's respectful and understands cultural sensitivities.

As I grow as a leader, Jonathan is the only photographer that will capture my smile!”

North Devon Camping

These three small owner-managed campsites in North Devon have been helping people to connect with nature for over 30 years.

These images capture the joy and peace that people - especially children - experience, when they are outdoors and close to the elements.

They convey the feel and character of each place, and the love and care the owners put into creating something special for their guests.

Don't they make you want to want to wake up by a stream or overlooking the sea?!
